Just buying a gym membership isn’t going to get you results. Paying for a PT/Class isn’t going to get you results. Buying a diet plan isn’t going to get you results. Yes, with all these things you are paying for a service. With the gym you are paying for the facility and the equipment. With PT or classes, you are paying for the knowledge and the programming. Likewise, with a nutrition plan.
However, just paying for the services without the input of your HARD work will not get you anywhere.
We live in a world where we want something fast or a quick fix for the money we part with. For example, when you go to a shop you hand the money over and receive your food straight away. You buy a car, you have a new car. Buy a phone, you get your phone. The list goes on…. You buy your wife….wrong blog. (or husband, we aren’t sexist at 66).
There has to be a high level of application to get the results desired, just going through the process of buying a gym membership and scanning foods on MFP won’t get you to your goals.
Be honest with yourself. If you aren’t seeing the results you want then ask yourself ‘am I really giving it my all?’ ‘Am I really eating the calories set by my coach?’
As cliché as it sounds, you get out what you put in. Just buying a gym membership doesn’t build muscle or lose weight.
Don’t just go along with the process. Work hard for the results.
